Obama is president... Deal with it!

You know, ever since Obama has become the president-elect I've heard a lot of people say how they don't like it. I can understand that. I would have rather had McCain become president, however, I fully disagree with the peoople who say that they won't do anything for or with the new President because who they didn't want to win won. To me that is doing what we shouldn't do. I say that in this time of economic turmoil we need to do all in our power to unite and support our president, regardless of who it is. That does not mean that we need to vote for every bill that he sends our way, for that would be going down a path that we can't go. We need to dispute and argue yes, but we can't just overall stop supporting the president. Yes, Obama can and probably will do something that we don't like, and it might even cause problems, but my Grandpa John said to me the other day: "Everybody makes mistakes." We might as well say that we won't support our country. That is what we need to NOT do at this time. So all those who read this I would encourage to support our new president, vote for what we think is right. Excersise our constitutional rights. Support our Country! That is the only way that america can truly become that beloved country we all want it to be.

Stupid, lousy, rotten COMPUTER!

Okay, so today, November 7th, is part of national write a novel month, it is a challenge where you write a story that is 50,000 words long, at least, that means you must maintain a minimum of at least 1667 words a day in order to complete this task... I started five days late, so I have to maintain a minimum of at least 2000 words a day. Now here is the problem, I wrote about 1600 words yesterday, not quite all of them, but enough. Today I wrote about 2300 more words. Haha everything was fine and dandy, then I saved the product. But the dang computer freakin' saved it in the wrong place or something. I can't find my glorious words! 2300 words down the tube!

Nuts and Bolts

Yay! Okay, so yesterday after work I went to Wal-mart to check out if they had a game that one of my employers suggested to me. I got there and after searching gave up because they didn't have it. Just then my cell phone vibrated! It was a message from Cha-Cha, prior to this event, once my shift was over, I had texted cha cha, and had asked when Banjo Kazooie 3 was coming out. I flipped out my phone to see the exiting news! November 11 2008! A miracle! And then I looked up on one of the tv screens, it was airing a Banjo Kazooie 3 commercial! How amazing! I loved every minute of it! I am so excited! I am going to buy it first thing that day, after school! I've been waiting for this moment a long time! And now my patience Has payed off! It is going to be great! from what I've heard you get to build your own vehicles and stuff to move around, so... yeah. I guess that is why they call it Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts...

Halloween predictions

I wonder what halloween is going to be like this year. I know that I am not going to go trick or treating, (unless I have to supervise my siblings' candy gatherings) but that is what halloween used to always be about. I remember the days when trick-or-treating was what I looked forward to. When going out and getting the coolest costume was the funest pre-halloween thing to do. I remember getting mine and then going to school with my scream mask, thinking that I was the coolest, only to find out that I had been 1-uped by the kids who's scream masks could now pump fake blood through the mask. Those were the days. But now all that halloween is is just watching scary movies and haloween specials. Hmmm, I'm going to read some of my old haloween specials of J.Comics that I made. It will be good nastalgia. *sigh* Parties and Haloween specials won't do. I can't wait until I have kids, and then I can go trick-or-treating with them.

Funny Political Cartoons

As much as I love politics, you've got to be able to laugh at them some times. Especially Govenor Palin, what a funny lady. Smart, but could use a tip or two on giving speeches. I love politics ;)

Gaffigan and the Ninja

If anyone out there reading this does not like standup comedy, then do I have a cure for you! Ok, so there is this guy, he is a medium-height guy, redish-orange hair, balding, and he looks like a big dork. He goes by the name Gaffigan, (I know, you were hoping I was going to say McCain from his younger days). Jim Gaffigan. Oh my gosh! He is one of the funniest comedians of all time! I mean, he is like Jerry Seinfeld, or Kevin James, or even Gabriel Englasias funny! If you have never heard of him just go to Youtube or Google Video and search for his one of his videos, most notably his "Hot Pockets" skit, or his "Holidays". Also, if you are in search of some laughs and you are quite in a good laughable mood, check out the Ask A Ninja video clips on Youtube or Google Video, it is worth it, if you can just make it past the theme song intro...

I Like this, I like this a lot!

I like this, I like this a lot! I like the whole being able to get ideas that aren't my own, so that all I need to do is blog about my comics and someone, whether it be "Glorious Revolution", or "Romero's Arrows", then I don't even have the strain and wear on my mind about the ideas, all I have to do is give the basic outline of the comic and someone will give me an idea, and all I have to do is the fun part of drawing it out (minor storyline and plot development involved, but ya know, that's just okay). Anyways, I used "Glorious Revolution's" idea about the Un-ripenable bananna, he is now an intricate part of the storyline and where I've gotten some of my recent ideas for my comics of Monkey the Monkey. I'll work on "Romero's Arrows'" Idea with the gorrilla soon. Anyways... I like this... Here's a picture of the monkey and the bananna... :P

Monkey the Monkey

Hah, I'm going to go home today and write another comic (after homework and other such things of course)... but I haven't a clue what about. I'm thinking about writing one about Monkey the Monkey, it is a nonsensicle one about a Monkey, named Monkey, who just does stupid stuff, there isn't an episode to date in which he does something productive or even beneficial. Hmmm, but oh well... whatever. Hopefully all goes well, if anyone has any ideas, give me one.

Soccer, Conference and Work

This weekend was a fun, but not so fun weekend. It consisted of Soccer, General Conference and work. The soccer part was fun all around. I love soccer. It is my favorite sport. I got a new soccer ball on friday night, so on saturday (while it was raining) I spent the morning playing soccer with my brothers, and then later with my friend Chase. It was fun. I practiced dropkicks (Not one of my strengths) and being a goaly (Another weak spot) but with all this practice I must be getting good right? I don't know, I don't feel like I am, but who knows. Anyways, after a morning of Soccer I geared up for work. Normally I would not be looking forward to work because I used to work five days a week and all it was was just another day at the office spending like eight hours there... ugh... but I liked it because I hadn't worked all week. So I was going back to see all of the people (And the cute hostesses). Anyways, that was that, then on Sunday morning I watched conference. A wonderful conference at that. I love Pres. Monson, he is a funny man, but with a good spirit about him. I liked Nelson's talk too and I liked the other talks too. Then, that night I played soccer and football again. It was fun. But I just hope all my weekends are not like this. Except soccer. Meh.

Debates all around

We all know the debate between the old Joker and the new joker (if not look at my post about Batman... But what about in politics? Well I watched the debate with Biden and Palin and it was an interesting debate. The only problem is that it didn't really sway me one way or the other. I watched it and to me, they didn't seem to answer the questions. They seemed to mud sling the whole time (in a polite way) or repeat the president's views. Obviously we know what the president wants, I want to know what they are going to do. Oh well there was a bright side! Every third grader gets extra credit! Yipee! Anyways, while these two debates (Joker Vs. Joker and Palin Vs. Biden) rage, one more debate must be taken into consideration! Pirates or Ninjas? Well, I don't want to swade your decsision or anything but Ninjas are one million times better than pirates! any wierdos out there who like pirates better... keep your comments to yourselves! (Just kidding... but don't bring up Jack Sparrow... what a lame excuse to like a pirate! Blek!) Besides, who can throw a Ninja star better than a Ninja? No one! (Chuck Norris) Who said that?!

Batman Continues!

Well first off I must tell everyone of my traumatic tale last night. Well, I was playing soccer all day yesterday, and I must have been thinking about it all night because last night I turned over in my bed and I kicked the wall. Hard. It really hurt, and now my foot is sore. If I might have known why I kicked it maybe it wouldn't be so bad... Hmm. Oh well. Anyways... Batman is the subject of today's topic. Batman is awesome! that is a fact, not an oppinion. Two-Face is the best villain of the series but the Joker and Clayface are following in a close second. I just recently watched BATMAN. The one with Jack Nicholson. It was good! I loved it. That is the way Joker sould look... Smiling, not with a wierd demented "painted on" smile. Lame! But an actual face that can't stop smiling. And he was even creepy still, you don't need to give him crappy paint on the face to make him creepy... honestly all you really need to do to make him creepy is have him smiling and have a tommy gun in the other hand. But I have friends who still say that the Dark Knight version of Joker is better. I guess it is a point o view. Unlike Batman being cool. Which is a fact.

ZWORG

Okay, so I'm writing a story for my drama class called ZWORG and I want some feedback on this, just to see if it might be acceptable... so in the future around 2840, the earths population has risen very rapidly, so rapidly in fact that the government (in which everything runs on logic at this time in the future and everything illogical is terminated) decides to send over one million people into space into uncharted territory, knowing that they are going to be destroyed. It seemed like the most logical thing to do. Anyways the ship lands and some of the people decide to go look for some food. It is night and in this story the big creatures come out at night to feed (parody of pikmin I know) anyways after a while the ship's food supply runs out and the people need to go hunt for food, so they decide to go out during the day to see if it is any safer. They start returning near dusk and the people inside the ship see them on the horizon. But then the sun goes down and they get eaten. After 15 years goes by the only man left on the planet is a russian named Balehoff Chekkam. He finds a recorder and journal that one person left behind and decides to use it. Anyways he figures out the government's plan (fifteen years alone is a long time to come up with the right answers don't you think?) and then he meets another guy who came to the planet, an american super-model named Jason. Jason sends the message that they are sending more people over to save the universe! Balehoff, knowing that this is a lie, trys to convince Jason of the eminent holocaust about to take place. Anyways during the days that they spend together they meet the Zworgs (little furby-like aliens), Gonzu (a devilish inhabitant of the planet that tries to trick them into coming with him into his layer so he can eat them), and Fargfignuggen ( an old man that was sent there 30 years ago that has a mental problem from being there so long. Haven't thought of an ending yet... so suggestions would be nice. :)

J.Comix's J.Comics

Now it is time for the main event... J.COMICS! What are J.Comics you ask? Well, it is a set of comics, created by me, that can be about pretty much anything. (If I aprrove) I love to draw, it is mylife and my passion. So...yeah. My most famous J.Comic ever is probably Crazy. Crazy is a comic about a round shaped creature that lives in a place called Crazy-town and he just goes through all of these nonsensicle adventures. Most of the episodes have no point, or even a true story, and hardly any episodes have a true reason for even existing. There are around 60 episodes seperated into 3 or 4 seasons, the first season is dedicated to introducing the characters and Crazy's insane life. The second season is dedicated to Crazy's life as a Pirate ship captain and his undersea life. The third season is mostly dedicated to Buckbeard (Crazy's arch nemesis) taking over all of Crazy-Town. Anyways, that is a little bit of what my J.Comics consist of. Most of the series are just fun little things so that I could draw and have fun. If you want to read a J.Comic or have an Idea for one then e-mail me at romerojo@wsdmail.net, and I will reply and possibly use your idea.

All about Gym class!

Yes, it is the funnest class of the day! And yes, I do love it! And yes, they do make you take tests in that class! That is the only part I don't like about it. I mean who doesn't love Soccer, or Football, or Bowling, or Volleyball, or Basketball, or even Badmitten once in a while, but I mean come on, who wants to sit down and take a test on what a Center is in Football? "Not I said the little lamb." Anyways, It is a fun class and I made a relatively good play today if I do say so myself... Okay so picture this: The other team hikes the ball to the QB, the time is set! He has five seconds to throw the ball or he's done for! So he makes a quick desicion, he sees an opening... he throws the ball to someone over on the right side of the field that isn't being blocked. Or so he thinks! He wasn't planning on having Jordan the Magnificent on the defence! I rushed in at the speed of light and knocked that sucka out! Okay, maybe it was two hand touch... so sue me! I still touched the guy! and not only that but I dove to do it! Yes the faceplant was painful... so be quiet about it already okay? Sheesh.

Mr. Potato Head

Alright, first for the important things... Mr. Potato Head... I mean come on, he is a potato with remmovable pieces, there isn't anything better than your very own, customizable potato to stick on your dresser and do nothing with! At this time I have a vintage Mr. Potato Head from the 1970's. It is way cool! I love it and it loves me! Except when I make it wear its eyebrows on its ears. Anyways, I've had many potato heads over the years and they all are awesome... so my suggestion to you is to get one. Even if you are an adult, it doesn't matter. Who is gonna care? Mr. Nobody that's who! No excuses! Get one! Now!
