Obama is president... Deal with it!

You know, ever since Obama has become the president-elect I've heard a lot of people say how they don't like it. I can understand that. I would have rather had McCain become president, however, I fully disagree with the peoople who say that they won't do anything for or with the new President because who they didn't want to win won. To me that is doing what we shouldn't do. I say that in this time of economic turmoil we need to do all in our power to unite and support our president, regardless of who it is. That does not mean that we need to vote for every bill that he sends our way, for that would be going down a path that we can't go. We need to dispute and argue yes, but we can't just overall stop supporting the president. Yes, Obama can and probably will do something that we don't like, and it might even cause problems, but my Grandpa John said to me the other day: "Everybody makes mistakes." We might as well say that we won't support our country. That is what we need to NOT do at this time. So all those who read this I would encourage to support our new president, vote for what we think is right. Excersise our constitutional rights. Support our Country! That is the only way that america can truly become that beloved country we all want it to be.

Stupid, lousy, rotten COMPUTER!

Okay, so today, November 7th, is part of national write a novel month, it is a challenge where you write a story that is 50,000 words long, at least, that means you must maintain a minimum of at least 1667 words a day in order to complete this task... I started five days late, so I have to maintain a minimum of at least 2000 words a day. Now here is the problem, I wrote about 1600 words yesterday, not quite all of them, but enough. Today I wrote about 2300 more words. Haha everything was fine and dandy, then I saved the product. But the dang computer freakin' saved it in the wrong place or something. I can't find my glorious words! 2300 words down the tube!

Nuts and Bolts

Yay! Okay, so yesterday after work I went to Wal-mart to check out if they had a game that one of my employers suggested to me. I got there and after searching gave up because they didn't have it. Just then my cell phone vibrated! It was a message from Cha-Cha, prior to this event, once my shift was over, I had texted cha cha, and had asked when Banjo Kazooie 3 was coming out. I flipped out my phone to see the exiting news! November 11 2008! A miracle! And then I looked up on one of the tv screens, it was airing a Banjo Kazooie 3 commercial! How amazing! I loved every minute of it! I am so excited! I am going to buy it first thing that day, after school! I've been waiting for this moment a long time! And now my patience Has payed off! It is going to be great! from what I've heard you get to build your own vehicles and stuff to move around, so... yeah. I guess that is why they call it Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts...

Halloween predictions

I wonder what halloween is going to be like this year. I know that I am not going to go trick or treating, (unless I have to supervise my siblings' candy gatherings) but that is what halloween used to always be about. I remember the days when trick-or-treating was what I looked forward to. When going out and getting the coolest costume was the funest pre-halloween thing to do. I remember getting mine and then going to school with my scream mask, thinking that I was the coolest, only to find out that I had been 1-uped by the kids who's scream masks could now pump fake blood through the mask. Those were the days. But now all that halloween is is just watching scary movies and haloween specials. Hmmm, I'm going to read some of my old haloween specials of J.Comics that I made. It will be good nastalgia. *sigh* Parties and Haloween specials won't do. I can't wait until I have kids, and then I can go trick-or-treating with them.

Funny Political Cartoons

As much as I love politics, you've got to be able to laugh at them some times. Especially Govenor Palin, what a funny lady. Smart, but could use a tip or two on giving speeches. I love politics ;)

Gaffigan and the Ninja

If anyone out there reading this does not like standup comedy, then do I have a cure for you! Ok, so there is this guy, he is a medium-height guy, redish-orange hair, balding, and he looks like a big dork. He goes by the name Gaffigan, (I know, you were hoping I was going to say McCain from his younger days). Jim Gaffigan. Oh my gosh! He is one of the funniest comedians of all time! I mean, he is like Jerry Seinfeld, or Kevin James, or even Gabriel Englasias funny! If you have never heard of him just go to Youtube or Google Video and search for his one of his videos, most notably his "Hot Pockets" skit, or his "Holidays". Also, if you are in search of some laughs and you are quite in a good laughable mood, check out the Ask A Ninja video clips on Youtube or Google Video, it is worth it, if you can just make it past the theme song intro...

I Like this, I like this a lot!

I like this, I like this a lot! I like the whole being able to get ideas that aren't my own, so that all I need to do is blog about my comics and someone, whether it be "Glorious Revolution", or "Romero's Arrows", then I don't even have the strain and wear on my mind about the ideas, all I have to do is give the basic outline of the comic and someone will give me an idea, and all I have to do is the fun part of drawing it out (minor storyline and plot development involved, but ya know, that's just okay). Anyways, I used "Glorious Revolution's" idea about the Un-ripenable bananna, he is now an intricate part of the storyline and where I've gotten some of my recent ideas for my comics of Monkey the Monkey. I'll work on "Romero's Arrows'" Idea with the gorrilla soon. Anyways... I like this... Here's a picture of the monkey and the bananna... :P
